how to fight against high interim maintenance 24c in a case of 12-1B

Hello sir- dropping this question again since i couldnt get response back due to typo in my email address. In case you have already reverted- could you please send the details again on this corrected address. Hi Sir/Madam, I have filled case under 12 (1))(B) per hindu marriage for nullity within 1 year of marriage since my wife is suffering from mental disorder pre marrital and this fact was suppressed. Now wife has demanded high interim maintenance against petition. my questions are 1. how we can fight against this high interim maintenance since marriage it self was done by fraud? 2.on what factor amount for maintenance can be decided? 3. how we can lower down the maintenance? Please advise, Thanks

maintenance is decided on the basis of mans salary and wife's requirement. you are at liberty to challenge the interim granted by the court by approaching higher court. if maintenance amount is fixed by family court then you may approach high court of your state.

It is not clear from your query whether an order for interim maintenance has been passed against you or not. Please revert with more details. In case your wife has filed an application for interim maintenance you need to file a response against the same through your lawyer stating why the maintenance deserves to be struck off or lowered. After that it will be argued and then orders passed. If you have sufficient evidence and fight patiently and ethically then there is no reason why an adverse order should be passed.
