How to disown my father legally without filing any case against him

12-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)
I want to remain anonymous. Kindly take it to consideration.... Right now I am 24 years doing my first semester in BCA now in regular. Relationship with my father is toxic because of conflict and his abusive behavior my self esteem has been critically hurt and through extensive google and psychological research i have found that now I am in depression. I persistently feel sad about my life and career because of him and also realized that i have been through a dysfunctional family. His abusive behavior enrages me and i want to get rid of him. In google I have also researched that when going through dysfunctional families in India, there is no provision for child to disown their family. So I decided that I will live my life away from them. Because he has been my financial caretaker up til now I don't won't to case against him but may be I will want him a bond paper that he will not do or say anything nasty of me or I will book a defamation case against him. Your suggestions please...

It is more of a personal issue. However, I will advise you to talk about your state of mind and thoughts with your other family members and your friends, it will surely help. Regarding the legality of the issue, you can claim your share in the ancestral property by filing a partition suit in the civil court by which you can support your life ahead.
