How to deal with domestic violence

My uncle who has an unsuccessful marriage life now is unmarried, always creating problems with us. On 07th june 2017 he make a domestic violence and abuses with my mother and threatening of life. Also blackmailing for jameen & property to be sold to others. I am a serving person in govt job, out of state now. What should my mother do do that he booked in a non bailable offence.

You or your mother should go to the nearest police Station and submit request in writing with the intent of the lodging FIR to the SHO of the police Station where you resides and the cognizance will be taken by the police Station. In case they do not so approach the Superintendent of Police again with the request in writing. I hope everything will be done according to law. Even then also FIR is not lodged, then you should take up the case with the concerned magistrate through local Advocate. Everything will be done as desired by you.
