How can I deny the unlawful claim of Stridhan

My DIL is asking for all the jewellery given from our side in the mandap as her Stridhan but the jewellery displayed during marriage was not for her those were my jewels and it was shown in mandap just for show is there any way i can protect my jewellery from her ?? Only mangalsutra was for her and I m ready to give the mangalsutra
You can file a case against them in court under section 417 of IPC of cheating and filed a case of defamation also for spoiling your reputation in society and put false allegations on you. You can file a case of defamation also under section 490 and 500 of IPC
