Harrassment over Property Dispute

22-Feb-2025 (In Family Law)
There is a property dispute in the family. My brother and his wife cause mental harrassment where we live in a common house. Harrassment like messing with my electricity cables, draining all water from water tank, creating parking issues, blocking main gate entrance, playing music loud, littering around etc. I have reported the incidents to police that did not help. How can I restrict them legally so that i can save my family from harrassment while a suit for partition of property pending.

Your best legal recourse is to file an injunction application , seeking restraint against your brother and his wife from interfering with your electricity, water supply, access, and peaceful enjoyment of the property. Additionally, If police inaction persists, escalate the matter to senior officials or the court. You may also file complaints with the electricity and water departments.
