Grandson's share in the grandfather's property

01-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
My husband's grand father had purchased property in the name of his Grand mother.. Then subsequently he bought other properties and my FIL's brothers settled there.. now that old property was reconstructed and transfered in the name of my MIL without consideration or gift deed.. My husband had paid the extra amount while redevelopment to buy extra Sq ft.. Does my husband has a claim in the property while my MIL is alive my husband has 1 brother??? Can my husband claim his share??? P.S. My husband's Grand mother is alive but resides with his other son.

Of course your husband can claim the share because any property of his grandfather is an ancestral property you can file a suit for partition in the local civil court please contact your local lawyer for further details
