False Allegations and Spreading Defamation against my wife.

My mother-in-law's younger sister is spreading false allegations against my wife without any reason. These allegations are bringing up a major negative impact among the neighbourhood regarding my wife. My wife is feeling extremely harrist due to this kind of behaviour. The main reason behind this conflict is 'property'. My wife grandfather has expired few years back. After his death, my mother in law sister is sleeping the whole property in her name illegally. What should I do in this situation?
The first thing we have to do is F.I.R. before the concerned police station, regarding this that she tortured mentally and physically.
The second thing we have to do is how the property is transferred in her name illegally? Details of the property Khatian No__, plot no____, mouza____, etc.
