Defamation Against wife and Police

I had filed case against my wife and others u/s156. Now I wanted to file defamation against police and wife because Police wrote a wrong complaint and I have prove of that but not filed fir. One police guy told me Psycho.My wife blamed that I have forged her reports of medical. I see police has not arrest my wife and inlaws as IPC 420,307 and other non bailable section are there bt still no progress. Let me know your suggestion
