Daughter's share in the father's property.

24-Nov-2023 (In Family Law)
My father-in-law retired from govt. service in 1994. At that time he distributed 50000 to his two sons and three daughters. My wife the middle daughter refused to take the money as he promised a plot of land in lieu of that. Then he purchased a plot with my assistance and has that property in his name. Now he made a will and given the ownership of the plot to two of his sons ignoring my wife's claim. He is alive. Can I file a case against my father-in-law against the will which is made without our knowledge. what will be next course of action.

Girl's do have equal share in her father's own self acquired property. And in case of ancestral / inheritted property, only if father is alive on the day of commencement of amendment act of Hindu Succession Act, Girls do have right.
