Court mariage and engagement problem

If I am engaged to a girl and I want to do a court marriage with the girl I love, what legal action can be taken against me, especially if I am also a government teacher? The exchange amount is 10 lakh rupees and there is no proof of it. Both girls are adults. The family of the girl I am engaged to is forcing me to get married. The engagement was done socially in the form of a ring ceremony.
