There are many civil laws which allows a boy to take decision regarding their marriage. It includes Prevention of Child Marriage Act, Guardians and Wards Act, the Family Courts Act etc.
The Hon'ble High Court of Delhi has recognised this right as a Fundamental Right to Life. Even under Hindu law, a marriage by force is voidable.
Taking the help of these laws get an injunction order from the court whereby your friend's family is retrained from forcing your friend to marry
