Can I file a defamation case against my husband and father in law

My husband had hacked my mobile by an android spy and used the messages for divorce in court .my father in law has taken complete print outs and going door to door to my acquaintances ,making them read those messages .he wants to defame me to the extent that i sign his divorce at the earliest .is this correct .i want the law should take it own course if he has approached the Court .what action can i take against my husband and father in law .marriage as per hindu laws .plz guide
You can file a suit for mandatory injunction against your father whereby you can seek order from the court that the messages should not be distributed or shown in public. You can also use it as an evidence to show how you have been harassed by your in-laws. Along with that hacking of the phone is an invasion of privacy and invasion of right to privacy which is a fundamental right recognised under article 21 of the constitution.
