Can grandchild claim share in grandfather's self acquired property

Can grand child has a share in grand fathers self aquired property after his predecesed father?

hello,
no a grandson cannot claim any right over grandfathers self acquired property. even son cannot claim any right over his fathers self acquired property, he can dispose the same as per his own whims.

firstly that property is the self acquired property of the grandfather therefore he is only owner of the property.... but if the grandfather is not alive then his legal hairs have right on that property... but here grandfather is alive then u can't claims on that property

Yes grandchildren can stake a claim on the grandfather's property in case of predeceased father. They can even file a partition suit on the self acquired property of their grandfather. Any property lawyer on being consulted will give you proper guidance.
