Can we challenge the decision of lok adalat in maintenance CASE. THE grounds on which it was faught was false.
Yes u can challenge the decision if you can bring out bias, fraud or other grounds which are not conscious, legally.
Though decision of lok adalat is final and binding upon the parties to the dispute/case, but Lok adalat's decision is also challengable, but only on the ground of 'fraud' . On the other hand, award of a 'Permanent lok adalat' can be challenged by way of Writ petition before concerned high court.

Yes it can be challenged subject ti filing of proper application in the Superior court of the court that referred the matter for lok adalat for settlement. The same can also be challenged in the referring court but generally the chances if winning there are minute

1. If there is an evident miscarriage of justice.
2. If there is a legal infirmity in the decision arrived at.
