Can bank receipt be considered as a proof for dowry paid

I have bank receipt in which account I give money to my sister husband %is it sufficient proof for dowary

Taking and giving dowry both is a crime. If you have to produce it in some other context then it is fine by you and proof also to some extent. Bring up with more clarity in your query I can help you better.

Yes it can be a proof of Dowry in case your brother is law is not able to prove your liability or a bill against which this cheque was issued. Or if there was not sell from his side or the dues that he was supposed to collect from you.

The bank receipt may be used as one of the proofs of dowry. But whether it can be used as the only proof or not will depend upon the adjoining circumstances and the nature of the transaction so involved between the parties.
