Can a 8 yr old kid be taken to a police station for biting another kid in india kindly reply please dnt consider it a stupid question
Hi.. police can take in to the child to station for enquiry but they don't have a rights to beat are torture the child. And if police are wish to enquire the child they can do the same in front his parents and they can warn the child but not suppose to beat the child.

Hi, yes if the 8 year old kid has cased bodily injury or harm to another kid and if it is serious in nature, then a complaint may be lodged at the police station provided if the offender kids parents does not take any precaution to restrict their child for causing harm to others. Such children will be prosecuted under the Juvenile Justice Act and shall be dealt in accordance with the due process of law.
