Brother filed a title suit on father's property

We are Sikh family having six brothers and two sisters and all are married and sr.citizen.We two brothers living with parent from beginning and rest four brothers living separate with their family and own house property for last 20 yrs.Since we 2 brothers lives with parent and take care of them ,our father has given his owned house property through sale deed to us both brothers on 2003.Our mother expired on yr.2004 and father expired on yr.2008.After 13 yrs.of house sale deed one of brother has file a title suit in the court and claiming his property part.Please advise us the legal aspect.

Since the property is transfered via sale deed means the property has been sold to you.....
have you done mutation of the property and have you paid any consideration.
Sir, need to look at the sale deed as well the Title suit filed then only relevant advice can be made ....
without viewing the documents its nt possible to make a positive advice....

Contest that case and as per your statement you two got that property from sale deed, if deed is registered then no problem if unregistered deed then you have to prove that deed of sale and one more thing if property owned by your father then no problem, if property comes from hereditary then you may face problem.
your required to challenge that registered sale deed first or if they filed simple filed title suit then i think they are not getting any relief from the Court
