U can filed complain against him but first what proof u have with you and secondly the relationship between you and your boyfriend up to what extent all case is upon that means it can go in to fraud and etc.

It appears that this is a relationship which did not work out. Breach of marriage promise per se is not an offence. If he did any physically wrong thing against you which was really without your consent then you can file criminal case. But my advise would be please think twice before you take any step against a person who once promised to marry you. Criminal cases ruin people's life.
