regarding obc ncl certificate validity

i m having obc ncl certificate issued in year 2010. Is it valid in cpo 2017 exam?? ssc has given crucial date of having certificate before 15 may 2017.should i renew it or not??
ssc will only accept the certificete in cgf format hence your earlier certificate is of no use and you will be not eligible according to the guidelines of the ssc. you are suggested to make the new caste certificate in the prescribed format in the prescribed time and the applicant is also hereby informed that the information regarding the caste certificate is given in the official notiofication of the post that you have skippedx from reading kindly read the notification properly before applying for any post in future this is for your reference apart from the case.

You should get it renewed as the certificate is already 7 years old. Usually certificate not older than 3 years is allowed for such exams. In order to avoid any hassle at later stage you must get it renewed.
