As per the law you cannot ever have two valid marriage certificates. That would be recognized as bigamy under every Indian marriage act (even if you have got the certificates from two different states).  The first marriage certificate issued by the registrar of marriage will be held valid throughout India.

Marriage certificate of two different states will be considered as bigamy even though you married the same person both times. The first marriage certificate issued by the registrar of marriage will be considered as valid. In your case, the marriage certificate that you obtained in the first state will be eligible for validity.
