How to change the caste from school records

18-Apr-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Myself lakshmi. I am a brahmin and my husband is christian obc as per our school records. Both our parents are married in intercaste. As my husbands family follows hindu tradition and mother in law belongs to Nair. We gave childs caste as Nair at the time of admission. Now he is in 4th std. We want to change his caste as intercaste. Is it possible to change? If yes what should i do? We do not believe in any religion or caste. Please reply

It is settled law that a person can change his religion and faith but not the caste, to which he belongs, as caste has linkage to birth.
if you are not belives in religion and case, pls ignore the space for filling the details of caste and religion in applications.

Interestingly, If you do not believe in religion or caste, why are you going to change the case name? Let it there whatever it is. And you cannot change a caste whereas you can change religion name from the certificate.
