How can I file a case for a person showing his occupation to be farmer and annual salary to be 24k. In actual he is working in police. He obtain ed scholarship meant for persons having annual salary less then 1 lakh. All evidences are with me. What punishment according to law
- A case is to be registered under section 420 IPC for cheating and also for forgery. He will be prosecuted by the court for the same. Punishment for forgery. Whoever commits forgery shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
