Domicile certificate is issued by Revenue officials like Tahasildar. Land rent receipt is an important evidence to prove place of domicile. Aadhaar card, Voter's card can be accepted as identity proof and residence proof. Electricity and telephone bills are also accepted as residence proof which may change. However, domicile certificate is the proof of permanent place of residence or native place.
