Can a person have two birth certificate.

Hello, I have two birth certificates and both are from different states in India. The first one is from the state i was born in and the second is from my home town. Is that illegal? I got the second one made from my relative in my home town and not from an agent. Please, can you help me how i can correct this mistake because i think this would be illegal. Will i be jailed for this? Please share your advice and help me. Thank you.

No, a person cannot have two birth certificate. its illegal to have two birth certificates for a single person. you can be punished under Indian Penal Code you need to be careful and kindly do not tell people about it.
