Will judge issue a warrant for not attending my divorce hearing

20-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, Actually I am fighting a divorce case filed by my wife, on the 1st hearing, judge was not present, and on the second hearing I was not able to attend, and on 22june of this month I have 3rd hearing and due to my work I may not be able to attend the 3rd hearing,so my question is will judge issue a warrant against me or will my Lawer will able to take a next date.actually I want to take this case a long distance, as she filed this case just by hearing wrong rumors against me as for 2 years I was not with her,and most importantly she stays with her family, as we are just did the court marriage and did not do nikha as that time I was not earning and she was studying ..

hi.. i have gone through your query.. this is a case of divorce i.e. a case of civil nature. in these cases, the Court cannot pass an order of issuing warrant against you, even if you are absent on any particular date. If you cannot appear on any particular date, ask your lawyer to file a petition stating therein the grounds of your absence.
