Wife not appearing for 2nd motion in Joint Petition, any chance to win

13-Jan-2025 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, I got married in 2021, after 1 month of marriage wife filed false 498A against me and went to UK, we are separated for 3-4 years, now they came forward and signed mediation in High Court to close the case provided I agree for divorce. Since she is in UK, power of attorney given to her mom, she appeared and signed first motion of divorce in July and she came in video call. Now they are not responding and not appearing for 2nd motion. Can I still get divorce with mediation papers from HC?

sure. once she signed in the mediation terms, it's final and deviation from that stand shall pave the way to grand divorce. so you may approach the honourable high court to get it done as per the settlement terms mutually agreed between both you and your spouse
