Wife mentally unstable can i file for divorce on this ground

Religon÷ Muslim Sir I got married 6 months ago but after 15 days of my married I found that my wife is mentally ill. So I want to divorce him but my wife's father is not allowing and says his daughter will be fine after treatment. But my wife is mentally ill from past 4 year and I get the medical document of that. I'm government employee and I get cheated what should I do
