Wife is not ready to give divorce what can be done

Hi sir I am posting my query on divorce matter. After some troubles with my wife decided to part away and the matter went before elders as well. She played with everybody by filing false 498a case on my entire family. I applied for divorce before the case was filed. Now after I attended so many hearings on divorce the status is shown as ex parte evidence. Ex parte evidence from starting since she did not attend any hearings . Now after I filed memo , she came and stand before me. Please tell me what to do on this. She did not hired any advocate till now nor put any petition. Regards

When the court asked for your evidence (ex-parte evidence since your wife did not appear at all for the hearings) then what is the need for filing memo and what are the contents of the memo? You should have simply filed your affidavit of evidence-in-chief on the date of hearing and after examination by the judge, the judge would have granted ex-parte divorce decree in your favour. Please state full facts for better advice.

Since your wife has appeared in the court in the last minute, the courts will now be duty bound to admit your wife's counter petition and initiate the next steps in the case from now on as your wife has now subjected herself to the jurisdiction of the court
It is a ploy adopted by your wife to delay the proceeding to as much as possible and it looks like your wife has played the delaying tactics on you and court.
so you need to be a little bit patient.
