Wife asking for divorce to get remarry also demanding children custody

My wife is asking for divorce after 13 years of marriage. We have one son 12 years old and a daughter of 2 years of age. Wife wants to keep kids in my inlaws house and demanding maintenance for kids although it has plan to get marry soon after divorce. Is it allowed to put kids with her parents, remarry to another guy and claiming custody and children maintenance?

yes obviously. she can get child custody but as per gurdian ship and ward act, mother have custody of child of 11 years of age thereafter the father can apply for custody. so you can take custody of your 12 year old son.
