What is the process of filing a divorce

I want to know the process for filing a divorce. How long the process will take if both of us are ready to go ahead for divorce

You approach the Advocate, if it is Mutual Divorce it may seven months from the date of filing, from the date of filing it will called after six moths, then the court send your file for Mediation on the Mediation Report Divorce will be granted.

If both of you are ready then you can file a mutual consent petition for divorce provided you have an ID proof and address proof of the place where you're filing the divorce petition, else you will be requiring the bank pass book showing the address proof where you are filing the petition. After which a joint petition is filed, on numbering of the case six months later a date is given on that date the parties are sent to mediation if the mediation fails a mutual consent divorce petition is passed by the court.
