What does restoration of Divorce mean

what is the proper meaning of restoration of divorce case. My sister got one sided divorce for her husband. She has filed a restoration case against her husband at Family Court, Balasore. I want to know here the divorce is final or not

No, if divorce is allowed then she can appeal against the order in the high court, with in one month of such judgement. If the order is not passed yet she can contest the case at said court. Restitution is when petitioner prays the court to restore her/his married by sending her spouse to join the petitioner .

Though it is exparty order or husband of your sister was not given a chance to defend the case to prove his legal right the case may be restored but circumstances is different for each case for better call me for discussion

I would like to say in your case divorce is not final. The court has passed exparte order in favour of your sister. Your sister's husband can go for an appeal before the appellate court to defend the case.

If d case z heard one sided I;e opposite party did not appear in d court except in criminal cases d court can pass an order called ex party order.but their z a limitation period for revision or set aside d order. So if allowed then court may hear d case again as freshly or from beginning.
