Want to know the jurisdiction of applying for divorce

I have dicided to divoce my wife. I am a Hindu. Presently in iive in Chennai and she lives in Kancheepuram. I am planning to relocate to Bangalore. Could I file the divorce from Bangalore? Even if done is there any possibility for her to get the case transferred to her place, Kancheepuram in the future? Please advise.

Sir you can't file divorce in banglore court. Where was your matrimonial house situated? You can file it in that place as you both resided together. Anyways if she applies for transfer of case, it will be considered by courts.
