File for Annulment If you can show that the marriage was never consummated, you may file a petition for annulment under: Section 12(1)(a) of the Hindu Marriage Act, or Section 24(1)(a) of the Special Marriage Act, depending on under which Act your marriage was registered. The court may declare the marriage null and void ab initio (as if it never existed). File for Mutual Consent Divorce (Alternative Option) If proving grounds for annulment seems complex, you can file for mutual consent divorce under: Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, or Section 28 of the Special Marriage Act. You must wait 1 year from the date of marriage registration before filing for divorce.

yes everything is possible and it can be suitably done considering the law of the land and keeping in mind that it is not that tough but you need to understand the technicalities over a face to face meeting and draw a conclusion and get rid of each other happily over annulment

you need to file mutual divorce application before the Court. after six months time, final hearing would be conducted and if the court is satisfied, divorce will be granted. from date passing the order the marriage certificate will be cancelled.
