Want divorce on the grounds of adultery

Hi this is shankar rao . I want to take divorce from my wife because of adultery case . Can you suggest me .
Whether any case registered by police ? Need further details sir. If possible try to contact us. Proving of adultery is very difficult, but still needs persuation. Any other ground will be a better option than adultery.

First you have to file a complaint under section 497 of IPC with the police
police based on the evidences with you, will take permission from court to take cognizance of the offence and then register the FIR
Once the FIR and charge sheet is filed, you may file a divorce petition on the grounds of adultery.
