Violation of Settlement Agreement in Mutual Divorce Case

Hi Team, If either of the party violates the settlement agreement framed during mediation, will it be contempt of court on default side.? Can it be executed based on contempt of court.

Hi Good Morning, Terms and conditions has been defined in the first motion of mutual Divorce. if it's violated then mutual Divorce will not granted by the court it's an settlement agreement, if anyone disagree or violate then you can go to the court for it. but it's not an contempt of court. for more querries and details then contact us and visit our website
