Time taken after the second motion of mutual divorce for judgement
07-Nov-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Once we appear for the second motion divorce (mutual divorce) in the court, how long does it take for the court to issue divorce decree and judgement, can i get the copy of decree and order on the same day?
No you can't get the copy of decree on the same day. It is at the discretion of the judge that when he passes the final order and decree.
However it generally doesn't take more than a week maximum to get a copy of the decree if there are not many intervening holidays

The court office takes anytime between 45 to 60 days to issue the divorce decree and judgment. However you would be considered as divorced right frm the day the decree was passed even though you receive the physical copy later.
