it depends on case to case if its a civil matter exparte order will be passed and if its a family matter then the stage of the case will be closed and it will posted to further stage of the case. Hence its required to know what is your case is all about.

What we can do is to file a petition before the High Court seeking expeditious disposal of your case before the trial court which is being delayed due to the non appearance of the Respondent and that is causing a delay in justice being served to you
