Suggestion on deadlock situation die to processes of Court and Police
09-Jul-2026 (In Divorce Law)
My exparte divorce case and property ownership case both are on evidence stages.
The relevant police report was duly submitted as evidence in my property dispute case, but the Police officer left the court premises before the matter was heard by the Judge. To utilize this certified report in my concurrent divorce proceedings, the current Judge of property case has mandated the officer's presence. Hence both of the cases are on on dead-lock.
Any suggestion will be highly appreaciated.
You may move an application in the divorce case to summon the police officer/record through the concerned police station or seek to prove the certified report as a public document under the Evidence Act. In the property case, request the court to issue fresh summons or a witness warrant to secure the officer’s presence and avoid delay.
