Stree dhan in possession of inlaws

I have leave my husband house few months back in Dec 2023 as he is always fighting with me & he has extra marital affair.
Now when I asked him & inlaws to return my streedhan which includes jewellery gifted by my parents to me & gifted by inlaws to me at the time of marriage. He is refused to return my jewellery & saying that we don't have any jewellery that belongs to you..you have already took all the jewellery at the time of leaving house
What remedy I have available now. Thanks in Advance
I think you should laudge a FIR at nearest police station against your husband in various sections of BNS..then police lible to give you your stridhan from your husband...if U present a File for mentinens at court then u should be able to take mentenenc from your husband and u also file a application of domestic violence..

All the jewelery and other things received by a woman at the time of marriage are given as a gift, whether it is received from her father's side or her in-laws' side, it is called the woman's stridhan. The woman has legal right on all these. If any person occupies it illegally then legal action can be taken against him in the concerned police station.
