Staying in USA need divorce in Mumbai, India

Me and my wife are living in USA and would like to file for mutual consent divorce. Can we file file from USA or do we both need to be present in Mumbai, India?

You can both execute a POA in favour of some relative or friend residing in Mumbai. All the documentation work would be done with the POA’s signature and the two of you can be present on VC and and when called upon by the court.

Respected sir, Good morning, in mutual divorce for filing u both require. After filing counselling stage will come and that we can manage by video conferencing. Date for final order is come after 6 months of filing, on that day u both have to again present, because u both have to file claim affidavit.
