Staying at parent's house after marriage

22-Dec-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, I am 32F. My mother in law is a very toxic and narcissist person. She keeps an eye on my every movement from morning using the toilets till sleeping at night. I am not allowed to use washing machine and have to wash my clothes by hand. I don't have any issue in wash clothes by hand, but I am not even given space to hang my clothes to dry. She keeps watch how many times I wash my hands, and if at all I miss washing my hands, she starts arguments. She takes my salary, and I am not even given access to anything in the house. I have involved his aunt who fixed the marriage as well, and they have visited my inlaws and had a discussion regarding their treatments towards me. but inlaws have only blamed me, saying that I don't adjust in that house, I back answer and argue and fight with them It's been 3 months, and I am staying at my parent's place. My husband hasn't contacted me even What are the chances that my husband will take any legal action as I am staying at my parent's place?

you are under emotional abuse. you need to move out along with your husband if you want to stay with him, deal this situation carefully as it may backfire, if your husband is not supporting your cause even after knowing after making him awre of rhe facts try to mutually back out of the relationship. nobody has right over the amount you earn, you are there to assist in case of need when it comes to urgent need for money. you will not be able to leave there if such is the situation, your mental stress, depression, loss of confidence will take toll on your health.
