Sending a Legal Divorce Notice

12-Dec-2025 (In Divorce Law)
Our marriage took place on 11 December 2021 as per social rituals. Initially everything was normal, but over time my wife’s behaviour has become aggressive, disrespectful, and mentally harassing. She sleeps very late and wakes up late, which disturbs the household environment. She frequently argues without reason and often threatens me with divorce. Many times, in anger, she says, ‘Give me divorce, I will marry another man,’ causing me stress and humiliation. In anger, she breaks household items like mobile phones and other belongings. She repeatedly threatens to file false cases against me and my family. She avoids household responsibilities and makes unreasonable demands, creating constant tension at home. Due to her continuous behaviour, my mental peace, family life, and social life are heavily affected.

In such circumstances, as a preventive and protective legal measure, my professional advice is to file an Informatory Petition before the Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) under Section 33 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), so that future false allegations, criminal implications, or coercive tactics may be legally safeguarded against. Thereafter, the matter should be pursued strictly in accordance with due process of law. For further legal guidance or assistance, feel free to contact
