Seeking divorce and child custody from my cheating and lying husband

I am seeking divorce from my husband because he has been concealing from me about his financial blunders and huge debts before and after marriage.Besides he has stolen maximum amount of my bank balance, my only gold jewellery and slyly transferred shares investments in his name. I had a registered marriage with both partners Hindu. I've an infant daughter and undergone a long period of shock, troubles, creditors' threats due to my husband's huge debts that were incurred without my consultation.I'm qualified with work experience and looking for a job now. Plz advice me the right way to proceed.

It is sad that u r husband is acting irresponsibly, if u have proof that he has stolen u r bank balance and gold jewellery u can give police compliant. If the Creditors come and trouble u, you should tell boldly I neither the borrower nor a gurantor for the loan given to u r husband and tell them that u r n no way responsible for the loan. If they still harass u can give a police complaint stating that although u hv not taken loan they are harassing u. U hv an infant child it is difficult to go to work now, u must stay with u r parents for some time. U can file a divorce petition for cruelty.

If you are sure with your decision than you can proceed filing a divorce and seeking custody of your child. You can also claim maintenance from your husband either by fling an application in the divorce petition or claiming separately under Domestic Violence Act or 125 Cr.Pc.
