Section 498a False complaint against NRI

03-Jul-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I am working abroad. My wife filed a false FIR against me under section 498a. Now I contacted a lawyer for anticipatory bail and he said that I have to visit india in 15 days once I receive the bail order. And he is asking two witness saying that I will not go back abroad until case is solved. if I go to india, I can’t come back. So I will lose my job.I can’t work in india because the IT companies do background verification. How should I proceed now? Go to india or stay here?

hi alocious here I can well understand your concern from the query raised, firstly you can move for an anticipatory bail stating for the facts, it should not be an issue, once the trial commences you can present yourself for the trial, if you feel the case itself is framed wrongly you can move for quashing the FIR, which would be the best thing to do, you can contact me for further clarifications, thank you
