Reopen Dismissed HMOP case when my wife is asking unreasonable alimony

16-Sep-2024 (In Divorce Law)
We (myself and my wife) was married and lived for 1 year (2021). After seperation, I initially filed divorce through family court and case is dismissed as not attended. Again, falsely my wife filed 498A and demanding huge maintenance through domestic violence case despite the case is in trail stage and she's educated. No child. How can I approch this situation, should I reopen dismissed divorce case again? Please help me here.

You can restore the dismissed divorce petition. However you need to get the delay condoned by the court. You can also try filing a fresh divorce petition in family court. If your wife is educated, go through her statement of assets and liabilities along with bank statements of your wife and address the court about her employment and income.
