Related to legal action to be taken against alcoholic father.

I'm 17 year old girl. My father is an alcoholic. He has abused me and family for many years. My mother is schizophrenic and has psychiatric problem. I want to take a legal action against him. If I do so, what will be the punishment. And will the court provide financial assistance to the victim required?

You can always file a petition under section 125 CrPC for the grant of maintenance from your father for yourself as well as for your mother. And if the behaviour and the situation is just uncontrollable then you can also write your grievances and address it to the police. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

you can file a complaint against your father in the CAW cell and alongwith the said complaint your mother can file a case for divorce alongwith a petition claiming maintenance. the punishment factor depends on the discretion of the court. for further queries please feel free to contact

you can go for DV act that is domestic violence against your father and their you claim maintenance and even your mother can get maintenance from your father. D V act givesl rise to criminal case also . All the best for further information please free to call
