Regarding relationship issue in india

I am a permenent resident of canada and currently living in canada but I have a boyfriend in india. Nowadays he is drinking and I want to end up this relation but he and his family threatening me that I cant leave him and have to marry him and they said if you wont marry him then he will suicide and even the guy also threatening me that he will suicide and foring me to marry him and his family saying that if he suicides then it will all comes to you and your family. My family living in canada. Please help me out that how can I solve this issue. Thank you

You can file a complaint in India through NRI Commission. The commission is meant for those who are not residing in india. It’s one of the speedy remedy available to NRI’s. According to your query, since you and your boyfriend are not married, therefore, no relationship subsists between both of you. He can’t force you to marry nor his family can pressurise you.
