Recovery of stridhan articles ornaments

My ornaments was lying in joint banker locker &keys are in the custody of husband...i filed a case for recovery on aug 2024 but but specific locker issue was not resolved..&once the locker was visited as investigation &it was unopened as husband(primary holder of locker) raised a issue that maintenance of locker was pending as arrear.PS have submitted a chargesheet .
You may file an application before the appropriate family court or the magistrate court under Section 27 of the Hindu Marriage Act or Section 406 IPC for recovery of your ornaments from the joint locker. Since the keys are with your husband and the locker could not be opened due to arrears, you may seek a court direction to the bank to permit access or resolve the arrears.
