My husband has sent me a notice through a local lawyer wherein the lawyer has asked me to pay his fees for sending notice. Do I need to pay the mentioned amount? If yes, Why?

Hello
You are not supposed to pay any fee . This is the practice of advocates to mention the fee. They take fee from their client and try to put burden on the other side . Dont worry . You may reply reply on your own too . It seems that u are qualified and in a better position to decide whether to give divorce. I dont know the content and hence not in a position to reply. Thanks

Firstly what is the notice about and it is the general practice in which the fees of the notice are demanded or asked from the person to whom the notice is sent. there is absolutely no need to pay the fees of the notice rather you can consult a lawyer who can send a reply to the notice and deny the amount claimed no need to pay the fees/amount mentioned in the notice at all.

Hello Ma'm

Kindly clarify the situation as to what kind of notice is it and the fee being demanded for is for what ?
I'm unable to understand your situation.
Kindly give proper details as to why your Husband is sending you a notice and what is the cause of action.
