Question on husband abandoning my daughter and need mantainence

Hello,nI am a Hindu and i have a 6 months old daughter,my husband and in laws have abandoned me and my daughter and not paying anything for her expenses.i am a working lady and doing all the expenses alone for my daughter but i want him also to share the expenses.we are not divorced neither he has files divorce..Please advise how can i get maintaince for my daughter from him as baby is responsibility of both not my alone

You can file a criminal complaint against him under section 125 of the criminal procedure code to give you maintenance and for the child too as he is not giving you the maintenance not taking the responsibility of child as a father and as husband he refusing the responsibility

You can file a petition to seek maintenance from the court for yourself and your daughter even if you are working. you can also file for restitution of conjugal right if you wish to stay with him and also claim maintenance
